Project Information
Used up some scrapes building some really fun projects.
I found David Wakefield's book on Ebay and just had to build some dinosaurs, I had bought the book back in the 1980's and built many of the projects in his book.
The last picture in the projects list was built 35 or so years ago using his plans.
One of the fun and challenging things about his builds are the moving arms and legs mouths that open and close with cams and levers.
As the T Rex moves across the floor his mouth opens and closes and his feet get in on the action.
The Brachiosaurus's neck moves up and down as he walks around and all four of his legs move.
So their interesting projects and a lot a fun watching kids discover what these toys can do.
Here's the short blog.
