Project Information

This is some art I made of a sunset that goes up into a transom window above the front door.
It was made out of maple and then dyed various shades using General Finishes Water Based Dyes and then finished with poly acrylic.
Just a simple project that I thought I would share!

It was a combination of Pewter, Medium Brown, Vintage Cherry, and a little mixing in in between

That really looks good. I'll bet it will be even better when the sun is shining through the gaps you incorporated. Did you make this via CNC or by hand?

I did the sun ray cuts with a CNC, the border and sun were done with a template I made. If you look closely you can see a blip in the sun ray cuts because I had to tile the project since it is too long for the CNC bed. Pretty frustrating when it happened but you live and learn!
