ambrosia maple topped, spalted maple feet and clear maple side legs. knockdown construction with dowels and taper cherry wedges. carved shamrock and date. hand rubbed spar polyurethane.

Huge Cave Man table. Back in the day during a Bomb scare that is where all the neighbors would run to.

I say that in a I really can appreciate a Caveman table tone. Nice job.

Great looking table. The Ambrosia Maple looks great. Love the shamrock carving too. Nicely done.

thanks for the comments. i got the rough sawn wood from the sawmill and had no idea it was ambrosia until after i got it out of the planer, .... even more surprising were the timbers that turned out to be spalted maple wheni planed down.
