Sacred heart niche

Sorry for my time away, woodworking friends. I have been busy with the Knights of Columbus for the past two years as director of the state’s disaster relief director and financial secretary taking me away from my shop…and of course, the day job. All of which has provided me very little time doing what I truly love.

Attached to this thread, is the Sacred Heart niche, the last of the niches for St. Bernard parish. Carving the Sacred heart and Christ gave me a respite from the build while allowing me to be in my shop.

Hope you like what you see.

Kind regards, woodworking buddies.

Paul

Just in case the sideways pics tilt some’s world view. This is awesome, and needs to be seen.

Nice work.

Great work, Paul! You really did well. Thanks also for your efforts and volunteer time with the Knights.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!!

Apologies to all, I didn’t see what photo loaded first…ugh. I’ll reload and re-present adding other build photos as well. Thanks for the heads up, Pete and the blessing! :)
