I am a new guy round here also, but allow me to go out on a limb and say- welcome!

Your box has all the hallmarks of someone who cares a great deal about what they are doing, and with a keen eye for detail. I like the graduated mitre splines, subtle, and I know that took some thought. Did you make the bottoms of the trays, or are those something you can buy prefab? American walnut and spanish cedar make a great combo, ameranish. Like the logo also.

I appreciate that! Thank you for your kind words, and reaching out. I made the bottoms of the trays myself from 1/4 cedar.

As a case it's fabulous, the wood alone is an A+. Does it have a hygrometer, and humidifier hiding in there somewhere?

Thank you. The bottom shelf is raised about 1/8 from the bottom to allow for multiple Boveda packs. I added a small digital hygrometer to the lid, not pictured.

Beautiful! Looks like it was hollowed out of a solid block of wood, great job on the grain matching!
