My uncle made this “A” shaped Hot Wheels case for my cousin’s kid and asked me to paint it for him. My uncle used to do some really amazing wild-life carving’s but arthritis has sadly ended his carving career. When I got the case it was solidly built but in need of some finishing work. I made a few slight modifications, sanded the hell out of it, added a wheel-shaped lock, and the name banner. I’ve played around with airbrushing a little but actually had to learn how to do it for this one. I watched a few you-tube vids on airbrushing flames and employed a combination of my own ideas and trial and error to arrive at an end result that I was satisfied with.

Are you kidding me? You learned how to do THESE flames on Youtube? I’d let you paint them on my truck…they are awesome!
BTW- if this kids is like my twins, the case will be empty and your uncle will be stepping on Hot Wheels cars in the dark all over the house…

Growing up there was nothing I treasured more than my toy cars. I would have killed to have one of these beauties to hold them all! Great job on the coloring. It looks great.
