Walnut and Maple Keepsake Box

This one is made from walnut, maple, and a maple veneered bottom panel. Features mitered keys at 10 degrees. Finished in lacquer and is lined in ivory velvet.

Very classy. It’s amazing how the different miter keys gives the boxes a different look. All super nice

While this box is very similar to the other 2, it is my favorite.

As mentioned that bit of lift from the small feet elevates it upward, and the splines bring it back to Earth. I like how that works out. Plus the extra detail on the handle are well done.

Plus I’m a sucker for a dark bottom, with a lighter wood top.

Nice box.
