I really enjoy working with live edge lumber. My son is buying his first house I built this for his kitchen hopefully for years of use.

Nice looking table. I am sure your son will love it. Are you leaving it unfinished? How did you account for seasonal movement of the top relative to the apron?

I finished the table with a medium stain and semigloss polyurethane, the apron was assembled as a separate piece from the top so hopefully no issues.

Nice looking Table, just hope he dosn’t have any kids, those live edges leave a nasty scar on forheads?
