Rimu is probably one of New Zealand’s most well-known timbers. Due to overuse in the past, these trees are now sustainably grown and can only be bought from registered growers/traders. The rimu for this ring was cut from timber gifted to me after home renovations. The core is American walnut.

A wonderful rare wood collectible, with an invitingly delicious provenance on the wood! Maybe it will become a family heirloom!
