This table is used on an old Craftsman band saw. It is held to the metal table with the compression fit of 4 blocks of wood. There are 3 threaded bolt holes in the metal table if I need to attach it permanently. The table is a 24 inch square of plywood with some banding around the edge to keep it flat. The fence has a square so I can line it up easily and then clamp it on both ends.

As long as it’s good with the blade, so it’s square, it’s good.

Plenty of wooden home made fences out there, and a growing number of people are putting larger wooden fences for capacity, zero clearance, and a lot of other reasons. Looks to be well attached too.

Enjoy it, thanks for posting.
