Fire Pit Table

We were in need of a new table for our deck. I thought it would be nice to be able to have a small fire pit built in to it. The top is concrete with a drop-in LP burner. The table base is red oak finished with GF gel stain and GF outdoor varnish. I have a 20# propane tank sitting inside of the table base.

That looks like it was taken from the pages of some “Fine Homes” magazine. Great look. I just can’t get the thought out of my head that it would also be what you call a hot seat. Maybe not, but I wonder? Now if it was chilly, that might not be a bad idea though…...
