So I had idea to make something that can fit properly next to cutting boards I have made lately. Never done anything like this before,0 experience in forging but I had a good will and idea.
Shape of knife came out from my head. It’s made of some blade we replace at one of the machines at my job. I include center of blade in design as a modern look style and decoration or as a simple bottle opener :)
All wooden peaces used are cutoffs from the cutting boards I have done. Was searching a project where I could use those and finally it pop out.
I’m happy with result at the end, since this is the first time I try out myself in this kind of metal-wood work.

I love the shape of the blade and the ‘sword in the stone’ like presentation. What a great way to recycle both metal and wood! Thanks for sharing!

Interesting knife. I like the block, but I’m not sure how the shape of the knife would work for me. But a cool idea! Thanks for sharing!

Nice work!!!

It’s amazing what you can make with scrap pieces and a bit of creativity.

The knife design is interesting, especially including a bottle opener in the blade.

I like the style of the knife and the handle goes real good with it. Looks like it would make a nice skinner for big game. Congrats on your ” Daily Top 3 ”. Excellent job !!! Mel
