Leaf Table

I am sorry but have not been posting for a long time. I have taken up golf and become addicted to it.

One of my favorite clients pushed me to make her a table to match the Leaf Chairs I made for her, so here it is.

She really wanted a Lazy Susan (not my favorite thing on a table top) so I made it to store the Susan underneath when not in use.

It is made from young Narra tree that was felled in a typhoon here several years ago. I air dried the timber.

Hope you like it. Now back to golf. (:

This is still a hobby for me Doc. Golf is a business with the betting they like to do each game. Haha

George,

Beautiful table! I am fascinated by the pattern of the top and was wondering how you assembled it. Obviously you didn’t joint straight edges to glue and clamp it!!!

Thanks for taking a break from golf to share your work!

Wow, that is awesome. I am so glad you included that last shot where you can really see the leaf pattern. Well done.

This is stunning! Would love to know more about the construction process with all of those curved joints.
