I made this cherry laundry hamper for my kids at the request of my wife. It features curved rails and book-matched panels. The side rails are lower and the bottom has holes in order to facilitate air flow to clear out the funk.
I filmed the build and you can view it here if you’d like:

nice project and i really enjoyed your video very detailed but a little long for me.i lot a lot of the guys here prefer videos that are not more than 10 minutes or so.you had some repetitive scenes like the hinges, showing how to do one would have been enough.but overall you made a great how to video, nice job.

It would have been tough to do this in under 10 minutes. I usually break up larger builds into smaller videos but viewers tend to complain. I’ve yet to find a magical compromise. :)

I really like the way this looks. Clean, elegant lines and nice looking cherry. The video is also very helpful.
A hamper like this is moving to the top of the To-do list for furniture for the new house.

Very nice! Functional, and keep the holder of the check book happy! ( for future tools!)
