This was a fun one. I will probably apply a few more coats of Osmo Polyx to this but I couldn’t resist the chance to get outside and take a few pics since the weather is nice.
Notice the live edge design on the apron just under the top shelf. I take one live edge off cut that would likely go in the fire bin and cut it up into three peices ensuring to keep them in order during layout and assembly. This enables a continuous grain pattern along the live edge. I’m not a huge live edge guy but I like this little detail. #howmanytimescansomeonesayliveedge

The live edge detail is interesting, but I really love the wild grain on the shelves. What kind of wood did you use? Nice work!

That is great looking! Yeah I’m not a fan of the “live edge” trend either, but that is a nice touch.
