These tables are made from Douglas Fir and have breadboard ends. The idea was to push the two 8ft tables together to form a 16ft table for a wedding. The breadboards were done with pinned mortise and tenon joinery. Since the tables will be outside, the top boards are spaced with framing nails. The table is stained with Early American and sealed with 5 coats spar urethane.

Nice sturdy tables that fit the bill, they sure look good all dressed up waiting for the Guest. Job well done.

Those are really nice. I might have added a brace from the middle of the leg stretcher up to underneath the top.

Not so good for wedding parties then. Leg room and Seat comfort around a wedding table is the important thing here
