This is a large professional wide angle shot I wanted to create a simple yet “typical” quartersawn project to showcase. Wanting to reduce the weight as well as bookmatch the veneers I used a piece of pine and sliced a board for glued up stock. Finish is my typical dye-stain-grain fill-oil-wet sand-wax.

More labor to glue up and sand but lots less oak used.
