I’ve begun familiarising myself with metal, to the point where I now, with limited tools, need to learn how to size it. I feel this is going to be a bit of a learning curve :p

Nice ring, Lynne. I think you can size copper by forcing it on a tapered mandrel that does not have grooves or graduations on it. I made some ring out of quarters by punching a hole in the quarter & then forcing it on a tapered mandrel with a piece of PVC pipe. I turned the mandrel but you can buy them.
