Cheese Boards for my daughter’s wedding party and friends that helped make it an enjoyable evening. My daughter and son-in-law were eager to help where they could. It was fun having their company in the shop. She asked for 7” x 14” and they are close to that, depending on what pieces I already had. Mahogany is the dark wood, Ash and Maple the light. The “fish” is a slice of Birds Eye Yellow Cedar. It was a very thin burl. Salad Bowl finish.

These look great! Mind if I ask what you used for a finish?

Looks like things were getting fishy and cheesy in your shop. The boards look great and I bet the help was welcoming.
Who gets the fish one? LOL.

Thanks guys, bugradx2 the finish is a mixture of mineral oil and wax, Claphams. Hey Dave, there were 5 boards left over, the fish was one of them. Haven’t decided what to do with them.

Think that one board has a piece in upside down? Someone been a busy boy, going to wear out that sander.
They look real good!
