This is my first attempt at a segmented pen. I made it from some scrap pieces of walnut and the cut off from an acrylic pen blank. The white spacers came from a hotel room key card.
I like the way it turned out, but I think I can do better on the fit and finish. I plan to disassemble it and use the pen kit on another try at a segmented pen blank.

Dear OwnWorstCritic…..
Come on, you gotta be pretty happy with this. Even as a prototype, it TURNED out nice.
What’d you use to weld it all together, superglue or epoxy?
If you buy epoxy in any significant quantity, it’d be fun to mix in a bit of this and that and a pin point of alcohol dye for your own “acrylic” parts.

I used regular epoxy to glue it together.

Outstanding pen thanks for sharing.
If were you wouldn’t attempt to disassemble that pen! Click pens very difficult to disassemble. You may end up with no working pen. Just work on several more similar segmented pens!

Bill
Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll listen and just move on to the next pen.
