A couple of sliding lid maple, maple burl and ebony boxes made for a Pyrography artist to embellish with artwork. Really fun little build, I apologize for the lack of photos I didn’t take very many before I sent the boxes to their forever homes. I do have a build video on my website with some fairly detailed shots. I had to leave the box unfinished, as it will interfere with the pyrography process.
Thanks for looking.

Boxes are left unfinished, the top view shown here has been wiped with a bit of mineral spirits for a glimpse at what the finished box might look like.

Nice work. That is very cool that you are collaborating with another artist/woodworker. Great site too Mike. I’ve book marked it.
