Dining table and bench but having some bowing issues with the table and not sure how or if I can save it

Based on that design, your expansion is on the long direction which is probably why you’re getting bowing. I’d connect the top to the base with z clips or the like in a channel with a lot of room for movement, only locking in the center one on the long sides. Don’t attach at all on the short sides. Also, you can consider using steel C channel as battens with 1 inch slots for movement. You can route it into the top but the design allows you to probably just screw it in. Threaded inserts maybe.
