The BOOTMAN is back! He’s alive and well and still kickin’!
Almost six months since my last posting. Took a bit of a break to refresh my creativity and get carving again.

This boot came from my willow tree I had chopped down a few years back. The logs are all seasoned and the wood is a joy to carve. This boot shows a lump on the left side which was caused by kick from a horse when Grandpa was a young boy hitching up a team to do some farm work. It was a gentle kick but enough to leave a mark which had to be accommodated by the work boot.
Sealed and finished with Lee Valley’s product – French Polish.

Glad to be back. See you soon!

The Bootman!
