Great-looking dovetails, though it seems like they’d be weak in that grain orientation.

Thanks for the comments guys! Allen you are absolutely correct about the grain orientation, good eye! I was honestly waiting for somebody to call me out. To be honest those were two scrap pieces and I didn’t have a choice but to cut the dovetails with that grain orientation (well i could have cut one of my good boards haha!), also it was just for me, wouldn’t have done that if I was selling. Either way I took my time sanding, trimming, and re-cutting and even added a little epoxy and it’s solid as a rock.
