This is a Spalted Birch Floating top coffee table I put together. It measures 44” long x 20” wide and stands 17 1/2” tall. It was a fun project to build.

I love the shape of those legs! Very neat! the heavy stretchers so far below the table do a great job of selling the floating illusion. Beautiful slab for the top.

This is an excellent design and execution, congratulations on craftsmanship well done.
If I might ask, how did you fasten the top to the base?

The craftsmanship and design are excellent, and the figure in that wood—to paraphrase Dave—is definitely drool-worthy.
