Garage to kitchen 4-panel entry door

4-panel door, double-thick plywood inset panels into poplar frame. Thickness of door panels was to meet fire restriction code, which made overall door a beast. Self closing spring actuated hinges, brushed nickel lever handle. The door will eventually be painted white to match the cabinets in the kitchen.

The weather stripping in the bottom of the door is mechanical, it presses downwards to the floor as the door closes due to a rod being depressed into the jamb, causing a nice tight air seal to the floor.

That is a good looking door! Looks like it’ll def keep the house safe from the tinkering that goes on in the garage too
