9 drawer floating vanity. Marc Sommerfeld style joinery. Full pull Blum slides. Dovetailed drawers. Dead Flat top coat over 3 coats of wipe on poly. Top drawers under each sink are shortened in depth to allow for plumbing drains. Whole unit floats attached only to the wall. Each row of drawers is from a single board to match patterns. Natural live edge bottom drawers. I didn’t get a picture with all the drawers in after the sinks were installed, sorry.

I’m normally one who struggles with incorporating sapwood into a design, but the continuous grain across the drawer fronts has me re-thinking my reluctance. Very striking.
This isn’t a criticism, but the sinks seem very far back? I realize that’s so that the plumbing could be tucked behind the drawers, but I was wondering if that wouldn’t make using the sinks a bit awkward?

The wife is a tiny short little lady and she’s not complained. I believe it appears back more than it really is. We set the sinks to the back splash guard wall. I could have made a less deep vanity I suppose, but then we’d have lost out on a lot of storage space.
Have your say...
