I made this barstool in my woods 4 class. I made this out of thick oak and red oak. The thick oak was used for the legs and the red oak was used for the seat. I first cut out the legs and then I cut the stretchers. After all of that I cut the seat out of 16 pieces of red oak and glued them together to make the dip in the middle of the seat. Then I screwed the stretchers and legs together and glued the seat to the base.

Hi Thomas,
Nice job on the stool, Seems your doing great in wood 4 class.
I was wondering how you put the curve in the seat? What tools did you use for that?
If you could let us know that would be great.
Kind Regards
