Spiral turning

Finish one of two pieces should have the second finished either tomorrow or the following day.
Still to give it a name. Inspired by Keith Tompkins from another site.

The spiral is Yew and the base is Oak scorched and lime waxed. sealed with sander sealer and finished with woodwax22.
Some very careful turning to match up parts. It stands 8 3/4” tall and 3” at its widest

One angle it looks like the moon but then from another a piece of seashell; clever work whatever you decide to call the piece Derek.
