1st—-I made this one for a friends daughter who’s graduating High School. It’s redheart and canarywood. I was told lavender was her favorite color so I used an amethyst inlay.

2nd—This one is redheart and canarywood with a random stone inlay

3rd—-I think this one might be my favorite so far. It is Brazilian ebony and maple with turquoise inlay. I really like the contrast in colors.

4th—-I knew this ring was more likely to break because of the way I made it (last picture), so I made a bentwood insert and now it should be as strong as the others. It is unknown spalted wood over redwood

5th—-Before I made the insert.

6th—-Brazilian ebony and maple with a sodalite inlay.

These are looking great. How on earth did you get the insert into an already-made ring! Well done :)

Thanks to all of you for the nice comments.

Lynne, I have to admit I surprised myself. I just kept sanding and fitting and eventually I got the insert to slip in.

The way those stones show off the wood grain is beautiful. These can total be sold mate! Lovely!
