Hello friends,

I introduce you to my table. The missing zodiac signs appear when the drawers are opened.
Turn the tabletop to open the doors.
The video shows the function.

Interesting drumm shaped design. Execution is extraordinary, with all those decorations and additiona. Drawers are also insane.

Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing the video as well since now I know more about what you do and will be watching all of your videos (even if I don’t understand most of what you are saying!)...

Looks great. Lot of lot of work. How much time did you put into making this?

Wow! The form is beautiful and then all the incredible inlay. ON top of that you have the amazing pivoting drawer design. So well done.. and then the hidden compartment. Quite astounding. I also like the shading gradients you achieved on the wood.

Hello Mike,
thanks for the interest.

Hello mahdee,
I built 3 years, often corrected and made new. In between breaks again and again. I did not write down the time.

Hello swirt,
We have the same taste.
The shading processes I sprayed with special patina color and airbrush.

Wow!!! That is an interesting and fun side table. Great creativity and an innovative approach. I could spend a lot of time looking at it and trying to figure out how all of the details work. Well done!!!

Very nice concept Uwe. It’s great to see you posting again. I really wish I could understand the commentary in the video but it is impressive anyway. As always your marquetry and joinery are first class.
Sorry I’m late commenting.

Cool idea with such a meticulous layout. The signs are indented so smoothly and the multiple drawers look so complicated and ingenious.
