Small indoor bench - no nails / screws

My WWII buddy Hubert had a large 11” x 8” beam which he was not using and may throw out. I said wait a minute and filtered through some options and decided on making a bench.
I used some 4×4’s for the base legs and cut into the top beam with my circular saw.
I was going to light stain but finally decided to go little darker.

Looks so massive….I like that old barn rustic design…simple, but efficient.

There is just something so satisfying about finishing a project and knowing there isn’t a shred of metal in it.
