Seeing as the sun is out I thought I would buy a gas BBQ
I wasnt happy with the rattly metal base and the fact it had to be wheeled in and out of the shed (never mind the room it took up)

So I drew up a few ideas and came up with this.

Knocked up the frame to make sure everything worked out.

Routed out for the redwood tounge and groove and fitting into rebate.

Made the removable lid frame and rebated out top and bottom

The two bottom doors and the two smaller top doors were put together

After a few days of oiling with exterior oil put it all together with the addition of some fire proof board (the black panel behind and to the side of the actual BBQ)

Still got some work to do and have an idea for utilising the lid.

Thank you for looking

Nice set up…I hope fire will not catch wooden parts.
