Peek-a-boo and spalted, too

Latest version of my signature style plane.

Smoother in stainless steel and spalted mystery wood that came from a load of dunnage. 8 inches long, 50 degree bed angle, 1-3/4 Hock O1 iron set. Looks great and works better.

If anyone wants to follow along on builds, I post process pics and videos on Instagram, just search for JT Planeworks.

On to the next one, thanks for looking.

I think you should do a giveaway for publicity. Something like “first post on my LJ project gets this plane” :-)

Awesome as always man.

Thanks, guys.

That’s a great idea, Kenny. Instead of the first post, though, I’ll randomly pick another number to be fair. Let’s see . . . . six will be the number. The person who makes the sixth post on the project gets the plane.

It looks wonderful. Where do you get the plane parts? I have thought about making a few wooden planes but the blades can cost more than a plane. My other thought was to buy a plane from HD for 20 bucks and use the hardware from it.
Thanks
