The awning roof support is very attractive. I like the pins holding the tenons in the mortises.

I’ve always appreciated these types of porches to add some craftsman style to otherwise boxy ranch houses and cottages. My next house will have one. This one not only adds curb appeal, but “up-close” appeal. You don’t see pinned through morise and tenon or dovetailed joinery on many decks and porches. Looks like you either have a discerning client or were just having some fun. Good work either way.

Very cool … you just raised my personal bar for outdoor projects. Real joinery!
