makdee you have taken pan making to a whole new level and set the bar high for us mere mortals.beautiful as usual.

Thank you Larry. As you can tell it is not all that hard to make one. Only if they could lay eggs and hatch little pens!

Beautiful pen and great video. Are those feathers in the video natural color or dyed?

Hi leaftherder,
The feathers are purchased from the local Hobby Lobby. After a week and half of suspecting my little girl (Maggie) of stealing my feathers,

Then I realized that I had hidden the feathers in a box to prevent that very scenario from happening.
Anyways, the feathers have to be dyed because I’ve never seen natural features that color before.
The next thing I saw after fetching the feathers was that 99% of them are producing babies and therefore they were starving. So, I will be feeding them so that both the babies and mother feathers can grow; and I will have my own feather farm.
