All wood construction.
Ambrosia maple with walnut hinges.
Polyurethane finish.

Very nice. I have almost 200 bd/ft of Ambrosia Maple, yet I don’t think I have enough that is as busy as yours is, to make even one box this size. That top is insane.

I’m not sure which is the better – the build or that dynamite maple

This box is amazing! The top looks like a piece I made into a serving tray. I love the look of the maple orientation when the box is open. Nicely done!

Beautiful box. The henges contrast well with the maple.
Do you have a jig to make the hinges?

You should make a post of just your lumber collection – I have neither the funds nor the space to have any appreciable hardwood in storage.
