Fishing rod carrier

This is my first attempt at carving. I used chisels and a dremel to create the bass. This carrier is made of 1/2 inch plywood and trimmed in mahogany. I finished it with Marine epoxy. I made it for my brother’s birthday and he loved it! Thanks for looking!

Looks good Chris... but do you mount it on a wall much like trophy fish? A few pictures of it in use would be appreciated by other keen fisher-people.

LittleBlackDuck – I’ll add more pics when I give it to him and he puts some rods in it. I tried to offset the holes for the handles so the reels don’t bump into each other. He also has tray room on either side for tackle or a sandwich. Cheers!
