I am building matching end table, coffee table and sofa table for sale at a local furniture store. Have completed one of the side tables (pictures) and am faced with how to dimension the legs for the other pieces. Should the head and foot be the same width, therefore making the taper angle different. or should the angle be the same on each piece

Thanks all for your comments. They are greatly appreciated. In response to swirt – no problem with stability. the legs actually extend to within 1” from the edge of each corner. I sat on the table and wiggled about without any movement.
