Our scroll saw group was challenged to make a box, we were each give 4 pieces of mystery wood (looks like mahogany) each 8”x4”. The box is ~3” tall and 4” wide. Quick and easy on my scroll saw.

Great job of scrolling. I have made many bowls like that but have never thought of adding a top piece. Did you glue the inside piece of the top ring to the lid so it stays put?

Yes, I used the inside cutout from the top ring, I sanded it about 1/2 the thickness and glued to the top.
I think the pattern I used was actually for a bowl, I used a different pattern for the flower and yet another for the butterfly, all scaled to meet my needs.

That is so cool. I’m not much of a scroller, just never seem smooth enough.

“quick” proceeds to show off a beautiful box that clearly took hours to make. Lol I love it nice job man.
