Made a beech bench for our hallway.
Sized for the location, to utilize a suited lenght of the area, just wide enough so that the door on the oposite wall may open and high enough so that the families high boots have room to bevstoref below it.
The crossovers in the seat are done with lap joints and I used tenon/miter into the outer supports.
It came out quite nice and very sturdy, mutch due to the joints.

Great looking bench! I like the clean, contemporary design.
