That’s an an old phrase you don’t hear much anymore, but it did apply to a few people I have known! So it seemed appropriate that I make this thirsty little fish into a bottle-stopper. A dowel was the right size for the straw, but I had to figure out a way to make a spline joint to make it strong enough to hold him out to the side. He seems to be enjoying himself, from the look in his bloodshot eyes. Thanks for looking!

Love the eyes, bulging with Burbon.

As always Mike, your work is great, and I love the characters/old friends. You bring them to life.

Always something creative from your collection! I can already picture so many other interesting designs coming from you like a floating tap or a portable fountain setup.
