the fisrt two are walnut next is cedar the brds had great grains but were splitting apart so I used resin with dye to hold them together But put to much dye in so there a little dark

The darker tones to cover up the splitting grains do not at all look out of place. In fact, they enhance the outlook of the storage box even more. Lovely work!
