this is sort of part two of the bedroom set that started with the dessehamptainer i posted a little while ago.next will come a floating night stand.the frame is made from cherry with the inset panels made from ambrosia maple that i resawed about an 1/8” thick and laminated with 1/2” plywood.the lower panel on the head board is just maple ply.the rails are attached to the head and foot board with bed rail brackets i got from amazon.the headboard is 5’8” tall and the foot board is 30”.the finish is my go to maloof blend oil.

You are one busy man pozzt! This is a magnificent looking Queen Bed! I really like the look of this one!
And the way you displayed it in that beautiful landscaping. Is that your yard? So nice!!!!

thanks so much tony,yeah that’s my backyard,gardening is my other passion and with spring here im staying pretty busy between dead wood and live-lol.

Looks good on that artificial lawn. Now when the ole lady kicks you out, you have a place to go but of course you’ll have to share with the dog.

Lovely Job Pottz, supurb ideas that came together beautifully. Great craftsmanship, and I do have clamp envy.

That is one magnifico build pottzy... You’ll have to build a matching chair so you can sit at the end of the bed all night and admire it.
By the look at the number of slats you are not planning on heavy sleeping and if it’s not heavy sleeping

maybe you should increase the number of slats…
Nevertheless, I always knew you were a generous person and like to share… but your night-time with the neighbours???... you kinky dog you…
Hope you have a bloody good umbrella for those rainy nights.
