Work knife scales

So work at the shop got slow lol.
I always hated the chrome caps on my work knife so figured its a good time to customize.
Found a cut off of rough maple with some kinda knot like figuring thought it might look good on a knife.
Cut and sanded then put a little oil on to check out the color and to my surprise it was curly maple too!

Used a danish oil for the finish, im not a fan of the stuff but it looks good.
