Hello folks,
I made this knife using traditional metalworking but what I mostly wanted to show here are the two novel techniques I came up with while making the knife’s birch bark handle.
Here is an instructional video (7 min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFTpxIUEEeo

Nice video, Max. I also use pitch to glue together birch bark handles, but I have found that I can simply bake the handle in an oven for roughly 4 hours at 110C (225F). It might not take that long, but that’s enough to do the job.
