Wood: Unknown. Suggestions?

The photo wherein I failed to get it all in the frame.

I had some fits with the finish on this one. It just didn't seem to want to get as shiny as I wanted it to.

That's an odd thing to hear from a guy who said, when he started these pen shenanigans, that he didn't want a plastic-like finish.

Nag. Nag. Nag.

Thank you. And, I apologize.

Tend to agree, have no interest in shiny thick glossy finish, looks fake, if it's made of wood it should look and feel like wood! Just MHO!

Thanks, Andre. The people (my public), however, probably wants them shiny and slick.

Hit the nail on the head there M'W'. Must be the global warming effect as it is not generational… even the oldies want shiny plastic…
Nevertheless a shiny wooden pen has a certain attraction to it… but then again I'm wierd…

Shouldn't that be "when he started these pen Shine-anigans"?

Couldn't resist - bad jokes deserve a trip to the punitentary.

That is some very pretty wood - it deserves a protective finish.

Thanks for sharing and I apologize

Nice pen! I like the burned rings.

I prefer my pens to have the natural wood "feel".
