Built this scale replica of the Harley Davidson shed where the first Harley Davidson motorcycle was built – #1.
Original shed was 10×15 feet – Model is 5×7 1/2 inches. Made of spruce planking 1/8×3/16 inch. Used Minwax grey stain to match the original. We had a photo we took at the Milwaukee museum of the replica shed they had there with our group in front. Was able to mount then cut out the outline of our crew so I could stand us in front of the model.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did building it.

Agree it is neat,

1. How did you do the effect on the roof ?.
2. How did you produce the aged timber effect?

Looks like a most impressed group!

What a fun project. I’ve been to the museum and it crazy it all started in that shed. Will you send them pictures of your shed?
