It been a long time since I posted a project in here, it a project that I have wanted for many a year.

My hand tool cabinet is finished, it is a combination of different designs from various sources, I still have to fit all the tools inside, but the construction is finished.

All the internal storage shelves are removable, allowing changes to be made in the future if necessary. The dimensions are 1460mm (57 ½”) x 1220mm (48”) x 400mm (16”j. The materials are plywood (unknown tropical hardwood), beech & spalted Birch. The finish is “finishing oil”, easy to apply, repair and low cost.

The Woodpecker, is my first attempt of wood burning, I may add more as time goes by and I get better at this.

Now comes the hard part, fitting all my tools inside.

Very nice! Keep us posted on the tool fit. I’m working on one myself and could use the inspiration.

Nice job. That cabinet is very versatile. I built one based loosely on the same plans. It really lends itself to changes for different tools. You have done an excellent job adapting it to your needs.

Wow, Tony! Plenty of depth to it, that will hold the favorites and then some.
