My pastor asked if I could recycle our “mercy seat” into crosses for this Easter, it was made of oak.

Never made so many copies of something before, I figure it took about 8 hrs total to make all 120.

Dado, cut, glue/assemble, round over, apply Danish oil.

Each cross is 5 inches by 2 1/2 inches.

WOW! That’s a lot of crosses. Great way to repurpose wood.

Wow, nice project run.

Lot of crosses, but I imagine each member of the congregation who got one feels a closer bond to the church.

As they say, there is a place in heaven….....

Nice job, and thanks for posting.

Now that’s a labour of love…
BUT thankfully they remind us the the cross as the tomb is empty….
Have a blessed Easter.
